libupstart-app-launch2 software package provides library for sending requests to the upstart app launch, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libupstart-app-launch2
libupstart-app-launch2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libupstart-app-launch2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libupstart-app-launch2 *
You will get with libupstart-app-launch2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
